Betty Ann Morris has been a professional artist since 2003. Her work first exhibited at Newport Art Museum Wet Paint 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, 2007. Betty Ann served in the United States Marine Corp for 3 1/2 years, became a flight attendant with TWA and later played a major role in the American Craft Movement working with leather and creating free form baskets. She has been a purveyor of antiques for the past 30 years. In 2003 Betty Ann took a Plein Air workshop in Newport RI and has been painting ever since.
She owns and operates her own studio and gallery at 60 Church Street Newport Rhode Island.
Betty Ann believes the world is full of challenges and she is ready to meet them head on.
